How can I help?

We are always accepting donations for school trips, dances, visitors, experiences, and things that make high school plain old more fun. If you have any ideas, skills, money, lessons, or ideas you want to share, with our organization or the students we serve, please let us know! Check here for our in-kind donations list as well.

Is my donation tax deductible?

Friends of Latino Youth is a registered nonprofit organizations 501c3. All your donations are completely tax deductible. 

Can I donate annually? 

You can donate annually, set up a trust or scholarship, donate monthly, or any variation you choose. We accept all contributions. 

Can I get a building named after me?

Totally. We are looking for a space to purchase to provide housing, supports, and safe spaces for the students we serve.  If you want to donate enough to help with that acquisiton, we'll totally name it after you. 

Can I decide how my money is spent?

Maybe. We are often fundraising for specific events, like a school/community fun-run or a school trip. But, if you want to subsidize a group outing because your visit to the ballet was life changing, or the Chicago Architectural boat tours are the best,  or you think every student should go see the Great Wall of China, and you want to start off with the students we serve, we are open to accepting funds towards a specific goal.
